Deer lake is a perennial favorite camp out. Cabin camping, with a side of turkey.
Each year, we camp at the beautiful Deer Lake facility. During this trip, we'll roast a couple turkeys in the firepit while the scouts make the rest of the post-Thanksgiving meal. A short hike to the Fat Man's Squeeze rock formation has been a tradition for the troop going back ages.
