Our adventure biking along the Cape Cod Canal included learning the history of the canal, biking over 17 miles, learning about the Army Corps of Engineers who finished the canal, and the first Plymouth colony, and much more!
The start
Our newest scout raises the American flag and the Army Corps of Engineers flag. We then learned about the history of the canal during a special presentation by a park ranger.
The ride
We rode over 17 miles, visiting the Aptucxet Trading Post Museum along the way and watched a train bridge raise and lower and also saw a train pass by us and over the bridge.
